Then, quicker than you can say the entire works of Shakespere (i.e. not particularly fast, it's not that close you know) Sam was in Southend-On-Sea. Sam soon embraces all the fun that Southend has to offer, which is, of course, more than you can shake a stick of southend-on-sea rock at.
Everything you could expect of the world's biggest Southend is there. The landmarks of the pier and the football ground are clear for miles around. Sam also goes crazy for the golf and gets really impressed by his reflection on the air-hockey table.
Sam is clearly lovin' it when he realises there is such an abundance of McDonalds in the Southend area. It gives him enough energy to make use of the number of impressive parks that are avaliable (once he's pushed all the little kids out the way). He even gets enough time to get the bus to the nearby small settlement of East End.
