Brief Outline:

Southend (Cold Ash) is more than just a street. While being on the border of the Cold Ash parish and bordering Henwick, the road is almost a small settlement in itself! Local residents are provided with their own small kids playpark (available for those aged 7 and under) as well as a ballcourt and small play area, including a random hanging/swinging device, for the over 8s. With over 60 houses in the community, there's a wide range of housing for the local population, including many youths. Things are looking up for this nicely varied road with its very own community noticeboard as well as an adjacent woodland area.
