...so go and visit it!

Southend Crescent
Greenwich, Greater London
ASDA Board Class - 3.1
MRKIPLING Percentage - 51

Brief Outline:

This central London Southend certainly has a lot going for it, being in the heartland of the Greenwich Meridian. It naturally has to be the Southend nearest to the 0 degrees Latitude, but it doesn’t just rest on those laurels. It has a large number of houses, both on Southend Crescent and Southend Close, and they are just a stone’s throw away from shops and takeaways to provide your necessary pie snack by the signs. There is even a little park area within the Southend Close which you can play Frisbee or football in. And signage is absolutely everywhere, leaving you in no doubt that you are in Southend. The main drawback with this Southend is that while there is so much in the local area (just take a look at the map!), including superstores, Greenwich University and sports facilities to name but a few, none of these facilities are in Southend itself. What a missed opportunity! However these facilities make it really worthwhile to visit and you can visit this Southend by foot, road or rail.
