...so go and visit it!

South End
Kensington, Greater London
ASDA Board Class - 2.2
MRKIPLING Percentage - 66

Brief Outline:

In the heart of London lies two of its most important streets, just a short hop, skip and a jump from the Central Line Tube. Easily accessible from Kensington High Street, South End and South End Row are an ideal location for the rich and famous to live and enjoy the high life! Being a cul-de-sac, South End and South End Row lend themselves to the multi-millionaire South End fan who wants a nice peaceful space from which to take in the sights of London. You won't get too bothered by local traffic (except the obvious South End roadtrippers!) so you can enjoy the location in relative peace! If you sadly can't quite afford to live there, the 'South End, Kensington double' (or SEKD, to you and me) can easily be incorporated into a trip through London with the obvious appeal of photos at the sign and realising each house in the street is probably worth several million! There's even rumour of them changing 'High Street Kensington' tube station to 'South End' in honour of the increased trade the road has brought to the area. The ASDA Board even commisioned a special postcard about South End, Kensington. Click here to check it out.

Things To Do:

Lots of good shops and public houses surround the South End, because it's such a tourist hotspot.
With so many streets in London, finding the South End roads is a challenge but one of great worth and satisfaction!
Well worth a trip to and from the local South End University...no, wait, sorry it's just called Imperial. Oh well, hopefully they'll rename that too!
