Brief Outline:

Just south of Swindon a small river called the Og slowly meanders its way through a group of villages named in its honour. These are the Ogbourne villages which held significant importance in Saxon times. However this little river has a certain privilege that not many rivers get when it catches a glimpse of the glorious Southend Wiltshire. This Southend not only stands out amongst other villages but also amongst its fellow Southends. There is no hiding away with this Southend, large signs of a quality not often found proudly proclaim to anyone and everyone that this IS a Southend. There are no mixed identities either. Its Southend simple as that. Like an advert for John Smiths there is no nonsense here, this is Southend and the villagers are proud of it, the way it should be.
